Privacy Policy

This notice explains how the personal data of visitors to this website is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The site is designed to collect the bare minimum: it does not use any statistics or profiling tools (such as Google Analytics), nor marketing cookies.

What data we process

• Browsing data. When you visit the site, IT systems and the hosting provider automatically collect some technical data (for example IP address, browser type, date and time of the request), necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use it to identify you.
• Visit statistics. To understand in aggregate form how the site is used (for example the most viewed pages and traffic sources) we use Umami, a tool that uses no cookies, does not track you across different sites and does not allow you to be identified: the data collected is anonymous and aggregated.
• Data you provide voluntarily. If you write to us by email or call us, we process the data you share (name, contact details, content of your message) solely to reply to you.
• Bookings. Bookings are made through the external system booking-engine.it (Persefone), embedded on the home page. The data you enter in the booking form is processed directly by that provider, under its own privacy notice; this site neither collects nor stores it.

Purposes and legal bases

• Delivering and securing the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Responding to your contact requests — response to your request and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Compliance with legal obligations, e.g. administrative or tax duties related to the stay — legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Who we share data with

We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes. Some providers help us run the site and process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:

• Serverplan S.r.l. — website hosting, with servers in Italy.
• booking-engine.it / Persefone — booking system.
• Umami Software, Inc. — anonymous, aggregated visit statistics, without cookies.

Transfers outside the European Union

The website hosting is located in Italy. Some providers, such as the analytics service, may process data outside the European Economic Area: in that case the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Contact data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and to comply with any legal obligations. Technical browsing data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights set out in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability.
